Why does my electricity consumption differ so much per booking?

Differences between bookings are mostly due to air conditioning units, heat pumps, and guest behaviour, such as leaving a window open while the air conditioning is running. Your annual invoice adds everything together, so you cannot see what each guest consumed. A metering module measures per circuit and links consumption to the booking period of a specific guest, who then pays for their own consumption at a preset kWh rate. For small differences or only basic consumption, splitting is often not worth the effort.
