The wattage on the label only indicates the moment when the compressor runs at full capacity, not over a whole day. After cooling down, the power often drops to a fraction of that to maintain the temperature. With a 1200 watt air conditioner in an average room, you roughly end up with 5 to 6.5 kilowatt hours per day, but this is an indication: room, insulation, open doors and settings make the actual consumption higher or lower. What a specific guest has consumed, you only see from a measurement on that circuit.
